grind old or new axle

bought a few NJS frames a few months ago and finally get downtime to begin a winter project

don't have any experience with track bikes but just found out NJS frames use 110 x 8mm axles

read on a old post almost 10 years ago where they would just file down one side of the axle thread to make it fit

I have some origin8 wheels I'm using which are flipflop and have 120 x 10mm axles

couldn't find aftermarket 120 x 8mm axles, though there are plenty for the front

any thoughts on grinding down 20% of an axle? are there other options

I'm using a 1" carbon threadless fork so it will accept 10mm in the front

NJS is for Keirin Racing ... In Japan they Bet on the Bike races so the bikes and parts are regulated to be as Much the same as Possible .

When cutting and grinding down a threaded Bolt , put the Nut on First, so unthreading the nut clears the thread when you're Done.
