Explaination on Bunnyhopping,J-hoping/Nollie,The reverse J-hop/Reverse Nollie.

Bunnyhopping is the most important trick in BMX, if you can't bunny hop, then you suck ****ing ass. I learned how to bunny hop last year on my Hoop-D(a 40 pound bike). I took my about 1 hour of crouching and pulling up to get the motion down. The techinuque i use is have your dominent foot back on your crank, and you other front, crouch on the bike benching your knees until the handlebars com to your chest, and quickly pull up. J-hoping, or Nollieing, is easy, once you get the bunny hop down, you pull your front end in the air first then pull up the back end of your bike. I even know a kid who can nollie about 4 feet in the air. Reverse Nollie is the exact oposit of that you pull you back tire up then your front. I and another kid I know are the only people that I ride with that can do this.

You're ********.

A bunnyhop is when you pull the front tire up, and then the back.
A nollie is when you pull up the back, and then the front.

Where the hell do you come up with this sh1t?

Watch a video of the Gonz doing a bunnyhop, preferably his instructional part on how to do them in Ride's "Basics", and then tell me that you do a bunnyhop by lifting both tires at the same time.

Considering that that video was released on VHS at least five years ago, it doesn't really matter what kind of connection you have to the net.

Anyway, that is nothing more than an improperly performed bunnyhop; I do that all the time when I have ride switch.

Pay attention Chuck, this is where you start to learn more things. It will be some time before you have to worry about the new stuff pushing the old stuff out.

I've been riding 11 times longer than he has, and Expat is probably three times his age.

Easy there. I may have been riding before BMX was really BMX, but I'm not that old. Coming up on 36 soon. So next question, not having seen Joe Kid yet, when was the name "BMX" first used?

I'm going to assume sometime in the late '70s. I've been meaning to see Joe Kid as well, but none of the local theaters, even the indie theaters, have shown it.

And that kid's what, eleven or twelve? That's about three times his age.

Not you, I'm talking about the kid with ADD that wants to make a BMX bike beat a road bike in a race.

He's 14. I wonder if Joe Kid will ever make it into theaters over here.

I know how I could make that bike too. A motor. Its genious. I could do it to. I got a grinder, and know how to weld. It don't even matter to me anyway, I got the pelasure of hitting jumps with a roadbike yesterday. It held up pretty good for a bike with little rims.
