The hight of a bmx bike isnt as much of a factor in bmx. Your top tube length is more important. If you are taller, you get a longer top tube bike. But as far as seat tube length, dont worry about that. and as far as how high you put your seat, that is all personal preference.. most people have them pretty low with the seat pointing upward a little bit because you very rarely, very rarely sit on your seat riding bmx. Good luck with that.

In the world of BMX, you aren't sitting down, so frame height isn't a factor. The length most definitely is. I would definitely be looking at a top tube length in the 21"+ range at 6 feet.
Keep in mind most decent frames are designed (in part) by pros in their mid to late twenties, many of whom are 6'+ tall. The bike may look small, but it's more the wheels than anything else. It's 175mm crank arms with slightly shorter wheel bases, but quite often HIGHER handlebars. Then, you never sit down. So, you feel like you are on a quick handling mt. bike and not some 'little kids bike'.
Most freestyle bikes feel more open to me than mt. bikes because the frame isn't getting all up in my business. I am free to be the rider in control, not just hoping to point the bike in the right direction and let it do as it pleases.
