I'd love to see some photo evidence of that, with your chain and gearing in the picture. Even with 45-16, or whatever the hell you're running, I just can't see that happening with seatstay brakes, especially after looking at the pictures of your bike where the chainline appears to be at least a quarter-inch below the point on the arms where you pads are threaded-in.

On evolvers the chain does rub on the arm, not enough to cause any real damage but enough to annoy you. I did this

He has SS brakes, not CS, so he wouldn't run into that issue. That's weird that that would happen, though; I had 28-10 on my Stricker without anything but the cap getting nailed. I stand corrected.

As said above, not enough to truly damage, just enough to annoy.

How, exactly, did you put me in my place? The first review didn't even mention that issue, and the second review stated that "this will happen with any brakes" (which it does - even my Flys have a slight amount of wear - it's not not enough of a problem to be an issue).

You know, you could just call me an asshole. I could care less. Posting a picture of a burro and Courtney Love doesn't really do much to prove your point.
By the way, for an old fart, you sure do cry alot about what people you've never even met say about you on the internet.
And still, you didn't put me in my place. Just looking at the pictures of that guy's brakes, you'll notice that he's running low gearing with chainstay brakes, which puts the arms far closer to the chain than your setup.
Your problem is that your chain is too loose, and that you're whining about something that's practically a non-issue; it's not like your brake pad is going to fall off, and it's not as if your chain is going to snap from rubbing against the arm.
edit: I deleted a long tirade, because I didn't want to make him cry.

No sir.. not a racist and there is a point to that though... just showing that some people are made fun of more than others. For example, in your group of friends, do you make fun of African Americans more, or white people?

And since we're pretty much white I guess you could say we make fun of white people more.

The product failed. Period. You unduely called me a moron & said there was no way what was happening on my brakes, did happen. You were wrong in several ways, but aren't man enough to admit AND apologize. So don't knock MY maturity, look in the mirror!
