The new G-sport pegs are going to be plastic, they last almost as long and slide faster on almost everything, including skatestoppers.

If you have RideBMX, in the latest issue there's a bike check for Jim Bauer, he has the G-sport pegs. It talks just a little about them, and shows a little picture.

I don't want to be cheap... and pegs can be a bit more technical than you think... they can have anti-spin/rotation pins and some slide better than others, so they are more tech than you think. The animals do not have anti-spin pins and I hate having to tighten pegs all the time.
And if you ride them on the left, just tighten them down alot, worked for me when i rode pegs.
