kink lights or animal lights

Which pegs do you prefer? I like both of them, but have heard that the kinks crack. I ride a lot of street (although I am only 5'5", 125 lbs). I like both pegs, although the Animals weigh more and do not have the anti-rotation pins. I hate having to tighten my pegs after only a few grinds. What do you think?

Nearly the same peg beside the anti rolls but just because of the anti rolls i would say kink. and to hell with weight if you are worried about peg weight you need to start lifting weights. go with some kink OG's. long lastin peg right there.

I did not say that the peg weight was the most of my concern... I was just stating that it weighs more... the lack of anti-rotation pins was the largest concern.

My question is still kind of unanswered.. I stated that one pair of pegs was heavier than the other.. so shoot me.. its like mentioning the weight of frames, it might not be the deciding factor of which one to get, but it makes a difference. My main concern is the lack of the anti-rotation pins.

kink pegs periodically crack in the antirollpinn area. If youre hard on pegs and super streetz I'd go with animal. If you're smooth or a parkish rider go with kinks.

They aren't that bad, but there are better pegs.

Probably just the name. Have you ever tried any of their products?

yeah, I've tried their forks, cassette hub, and a few different sets of frames and bars. Just not a fan for some reason. I guess it's cause I like other companies more.

Oh okay. I am not much of a fan of them either, but I never tried them... I just base it on reputation.

That may be true, but i would just get Animal pegs.

And if you want to be cheap, just get Poverty, i mean, its just a freaking peg...

Not that tech.

I don't want to be cheap... and pegs can be a bit more technical than you think... they can have anti-spin/rotation pins and some slide better than others, so they are more tech than you think. The animals do not have anti-spin pins and I hate having to tighten pegs all the time.

The pegs on my old bike didnt have pins, but I barely ever had to tighten them. Just crank your axel nuts really tight and they will be fine without pins.
