No kidding, he didn't mean that literally. I'm good friends with most of the guys up their and the 41thermals are being discountinued soon. Plus, compared to Fly, Wombolts and Profiles they are on the heavy side. I've rode BMX for 27yrs. I have alot of guys who work for compines, own compines or ride for them that I speak to alot. At Interbike, they said flat out that Wombolts will be REPLACEING 41 Thermals. Want Nuno's number? I'm not BSing you...I'm trying to help the guy not get cranks that won't be made shortly if he messes them up. ANYONE remember RNC? That warranty is useless seeing they went out of the BMX side of the industry. |

um, im pretty sure 41 thermals are LIGHTER than profiles.
edit: profiles are only .5 ounces ligher |
True story. Depending on which profile cranks you get. If you just get the normal ones, then the 41 thermals are lighter.

Well, really it depends on set up. I know afew guys running TI spindles on Primos and they are just slightly lighter than Profiles with a cromo spindle. It is all in the spindle type, and pedals. |

Point is bikes will all be different weights(with the same common parts-rims,frames,forks) depending on whatelse you throw on.
My T1 is at about 31lbs now, with 36's(both 14 mm axels). A friend has the same basic bike but runs Flys, Wombolts and 48's with 7KA's and his bike is 3lbs lighter. It's all in setup. |

True, and Profiles have an even better warranty. But how many people do you honestly know who have NEEDED the warranty? |
a few people, but they didnt bother warrenting(sp) them just because they lasted so long.

Why would you post that? We got the idea. You broke a crank arm... I cracked my pedals once, but you don't see me posting pictures of it. Honestly, no one really cares.
