I cut both mine off so I could cut my bars more and so the flanges don't hit me by my thumb.

I'm on Season 2 episode 5. I've seen quite a few of the newer ones but i'm starting from scratch cause i have no life. And if this rain keeps up i'll have the whole series so far done by the end of this week. Rain = no fun.

FitRider 921 03-10-07 09:20 PM

I've watched pretty much all of them. Did you get to the episodes where he has a hot sluttish stalker?

MadMan2k 03-10-07 10:04 PM

I've only seen that show a couple times.. ain't got **** on Heroes.

Heroes is a pretty cool show. Except I missed like the last two weeks.

MadMan2k 03-11-07 01:10 AM

Yeah, it's got to be the best one in production now. The first few were kind of unrefined and hard to watch, but once you get used to the producers' style, it gets addictive, and the plot gets a lot deeper into the show.

Back to topic, I cut the outside edge off my longnecks but I kept the flanges, why not have them, they don't bother me. What is with that brake lever? And Fit, he should keep pegs off, I'm running no pegs at the mo and I love it personally. Plus he does trails

Never watched it.

Pegs are so much fun though. And I know he does trails, but he could do some street too. I <3 pegs.

premiumbmx2005 03-11-07 12:05 PM

pegs are fun in short doses. then they get boring. and i always mess my bike up when i ride them.

mude 03-11-07 12:16 PM

how? i've been running pegs the last year and half and banged my bike on just about everything. still in great shape though.

premiumbmx2005 03-11-07 12:26 PM

my wheel always pushes forward and i dent my downtube. its differant when you do steel ledges.

Plenty of riders that ride trails have pegs. I ride more then just trails. I just prefer dirt jumps.
And i cut my longnecks ends off. They look cleaner that way.
I'm very tempted to get some plegs when they come out and start up again with them. I'm just so sketchy with pegs i don't like it.

And i put some more thought into pegs and trails and i was thinking that it would be hella sweet if someone hangfived a roller in the middle of a line!!!

FitRider 921 03-11-07 06:17 PM

Pegs do make my wheel move, but that's because my pegs completely suck and barely slide on anything. My chainstays are messed up, but that's only because of my lack cromo chainstays.

eightdip 03-12-07 02:40 PM

Cromo chainstays still get messed up, i bent my last chainstays on my flow

FitRider 921 03-12-07 02:44 PM

I'd feel a lot safer with cromo chainstays.

FuzzyRyder 03-12-07 05:27 PM

Haven't damaged the stays on my flow at all and I grind tons. Having the cromoly helps alot, even if its not heat treated.

FitRider 921 03-12-07 05:30 PM

I really think I'm going to break my chainstays soon... and I haven't even rode my bike in like 7 1/2 months.

wethepeople 03-13-07 02:33 AM

I figured since I'm learning Hang Fives and I haven't hurt myself to bad lately I would try one of these.

DK Vice Grips.
DK Macho Hub.
Sun ZX-25.
Haro Slims.
Voxom Stem.
Voxom Dirt Fork.
Maxxis Max Daddy.
Mosh pegs.

wompwomp 03-13-07 04:02 AM

Making one of those is as easy at it looks, right?
I've got limited time to ride around outside, but lots of time to trackstand, etc. during [adult swim]. I've seen a few of those around, and really like the idea, I think I'm going to come back from spring break with one.

eightdip 03-13-07 09:14 AM

I've tried making one, amazingly hard to ride

KinetikBiker 03-13-07 10:48 AM

Damn you people are your extra bike parts. The only extra parts i have laying around are seats, a few crappy levers and some Haro tires and my old frame.

Why is this font so big when i use that quick reply thing?!

FitRider 921 03-13-07 12:29 PM

Yeah, all I have is another frame and a gyro.

premiumbmx2005 03-13-07 12:58 PM

i have mad stuff. it builds up over the years.

wethepeople 03-13-07 02:46 PM

I still have enough parts left to make another bike.

FitRider 921 03-13-07 02:59 PM

Showoff.
