Cripple.

FitRider 921 03-13-07 03:07 PM

You take that back.

wethepeople 03-13-07 03:11 PM

As soon as you're riding again.

FitRider 921 03-13-07 03:18 PM

That won't be for another few months. My mother just made me extremely mad. I was at physical therapy and she talked to my doctor and told her to tell me to use my crutches, even though I walk perfectly fine and it doesn't bother me or tire me out at all. So now I have to use my crutches again and I can't use those things anymore.

wethepeople 03-13-07 03:24 PM

****ty.

I've been using a cane for a while now and that sucks, I took some time off using it and figured I would be fine without it (it was a pretty ****ty cane anyways) and I was all good for a few weeks, now I need to use one again because my hip sucks.

FitRider 921 03-13-07 03:30 PM

I haven't used my crutches for two weeks and I've been fine. It's probably only because I condition myself so well and my leg is a lot stronger than it should be at this stage. Everything my physical therapist tells me to do, I do double.

mude 03-13-07 04:46 PM

yup, im fairly healthy except for my shoulders which are falling apart.

gnr rocker 03-13-07 04:58 PM

Indian runs are fun(sarcasm). We had to do them for football around the whole field like 5 times.

That sucks. In wrestling you do a ridiculous amount of sprints, right?

FitRider 921 03-13-07 05:55 PM

I wrists have been sprained way too many times, along with my ankles, but my ankles never bothered me so much. One of my shoulders is stronger than my other one, but that's because I'm a baseball player and I throw a lot.

yes. i always lost atleast 5 pounds in water ot practice. Every day. and i couldnt drink the water to put it back on so i could make weight. waking up in the morning and learning you have to lose 6 pounds in 3 hours isnt fun

KinetikBiker 03-13-07 07:11 PM

I've got a bad elbow from baseball. Tendonitis or some crap. I can't pitch or throw hard or much at all anymore :(. Other then that i've been fortunate.

heres the trick.

lets say weigh-ins are at 12.

Heres what you do...

get down to somwhere within a pound of the weight you have to make by the end of practice the day before. Eat a little bit of dinner and some water. (about 1.5 pounds of food maybe and a bottle of water).

eat this as soon as possible after practice.

take as quick a shower as possible to prevent your body from absorbing water.

When you go to bed put on as many layers as possible top and bottom and throw on as many blanckets. Its hell but well worth it.

WHen you wake up you should have lost a good solid 3.5 pounds. try to wake up early. You shouldnt be over more then say... .3 by now. just spit it out.

Problems with your elbow tells me you threw (or tried to throw) too many curveballs. I don't know what else you could have done to mess up your elbow unless you throw funky.

I threw sidearm for awhile then changed to like somewhere inbetween that. I'm pretty sure curve balls didn't do it to me because my coach would always watch us throw and make sure we were doing stuff right. I had a mean curve though. **** would drop outta nowhere. :)
