Brakeless trail rider. Thats the way to do it!

FitRider 921 04-03-07 11:21 PM

You mean the way to kill yourself.

Bars: S&M Mediums?

eightdip 04-04-07 03:29 AM

Hollowbites
Dirt paths

ody forks
not sure on the frame, phoenix?

callumrides 04-04-07 03:42 AM

Yeah, it does look pretty cool. Any specs on them though?
i know they come in 20.5 and 20.75 TT. A 74.5 headtube angle. 14 or 14.25 rear end(a little bit longer than my frame now) and they weigh only 4.8lbs. Thats about all i know.

Sounds pretty cool except for the rear end... tell us how it is when you get it.

premiumbmx2005 04-04-07 01:31 PM

looks like a take frame

FitRider 921 04-04-07 01:32 PM

a wee bit.

wethepeople 04-04-07 07:47 PM

Ghetto single speed set up, still haven't gotten a hold of a track cog.

FitRider 921 04-04-07 08:17 PM

That is pretty ghetto. You have all the cool stuff.

MadMan2k 04-04-07 08:35 PM

I got my singlespeed MTB frame with a fork from 'wompwomp', but I need to get more stuff to build it up. Technically I could use the parts from my Hardrock, but then it'll be heavy as hell and won't ride as well as if I get XC parts and real singlespeed stuff.

DoshKel 04-04-07 09:01 PM

Are you going to keep 27" on there or go 700c?

Looking real good man.

wethepeople 04-04-07 10:56 PM

700c eventually when I get proper track hubs this summer, but for now I'm keeping these and just running a suicide hub.

And if you're going to say suicide hubs aren't safe I don't wanna hear it :p.

studot 04-05-07 04:06 AM

studot 04-05-07 04:18 AM

mude 04-05-07 05:11 AM

Yeah it's a custom Take frame. Brakes on the chainstays and another straight cable guide up on the left side by the headtube. Custom color too. That's the color i'm trying to get my frame painted, i love it.

FuzzyRyder 04-05-07 01:45 PM

Cool, cool. Can't wait to see it.

And I def. ran a suicide hub when I first started riding. It is unsafe, but its also fun :).

Also... was someone looking for the RAD bmx movie? Here it is:

You are correct sir

KinetikBiker 04-06-07 06:49 AM

How and why do people run slicks front and back?!

Even if you don't ride trails slicks are still...too slick!
