I was thinking about it... it would be pretty cool, but I want Rubens.

premiumbmx2005 04-06-07 08:08 AM

slicks arent as slippery as you would think, even on trails.

wethepeople 04-06-07 02:18 PM

Ya, if they're hardpack you can get away with slicks. I run two GLH 2.0's on our trails.

gnr rocker 04-06-07 02:25 PM

if slicks were slipperry, we wouldnt run them on our dragcar

wethepeople 04-06-07 03:47 PM

To bad you warm them up in the drag car.

wethepeople 04-06-07 03:48 PM

Also, in the process of building this junker up for a friend, still needs headset, pedals and brakes:

thus, do **** off. You still aren't an OG in my book, you're still to much of a smartass, and not a good one either.

gnr rocker 04-06-07 11:35 PM

i was just jokin, jeez. btw, where do you get all your cash?

wethepeople 04-06-07 11:38 PM

I work in a steel shop making almost $20 an hour, plus I get large discounts in this town because I'm a known member of the biking community.

gnr rocker 04-06-07 11:41 PM

i really want to be an under water welder, they make buckets of money

wethepeople 04-06-07 11:53 PM

And die quickly.

gnr rocker 04-07-07 12:13 AM

studot 04-07-07 04:12 AM

my slicks are really grippy, great for street and park, when i was doin dirt i kept a slick on the back and put a ruben on the front work really well

Like i said...it works and you can do it, but not all the time.

Lately we've been watering our trails before we ride them so they aren't crusty and falling apart and anyone with slicks would be fun to watch trying to pedal around the corner into the mainline.

studot 04-07-07 07:15 AM

haha i would probs still try for a laugh

RobHarmer 04-07-07 09:08 AM

Those are some pretty cool bikes. I don't do flat, but that Fly is pretty sweet.

FitRider 921 04-07-07 10:08 AM

Yeah, that is pretty cool. Do you ever go to the go-karts and batting range around there?

RobHarmer 04-07-07 10:24 AM

Haha no i havent been there in about 10 years, they are right across the street from me, my little brothers are in the process of building some trails right next to there.

FitRider 921 04-07-07 11:52 AM

That's pretty sick. I haven't been there in over a year, but my family and I used to go there every so often for the go-karts, but that's pretty awesome you are so close to there. There is a nice Checkers there too.
