There's a school here in Seattle for that. It's dangerous work. I knew someone who started to go to the school, and couldn't take it. He said it was really weird working under some of those conditions and it stressed him out too much.

One of the people I know welded underwater for a while, but he couldn't take the stresses and just became a metal worker. It's a lot harder then most people think.

Also, four of my buddies just got their C-Ticket, makes me look bad :p.

Those are too far away for me to go to, so those are no good.

Crappy pic of the MacNeil as it sits now. I'll get better pics later when it isn't on my repair stand.

The amazingness of the Slams:

FitRider 921 04-07-07 10:48 PM

I now dislike your bike, just because of the slams. Kinetik is going to have a fit.

MadMan2k 04-07-07 11:54 PM

I want some of those bars now. Except I think I might bend them, I throw my bike pretty often, either on purpose or by accident, and shorter bars = less leverage to bend...

wethepeople 04-08-07 12:11 AM

Get the XLT's, I doubt you will bend them.

gnr rocker 04-08-07 12:58 AM

i want some scerbos

studot 04-08-07 03:34 AM

slams are where its at, i wanted some for ages, and eightdip has just got some yesterday

KinetikBiker 04-08-07 08:57 AM

I love it WTP!

Allthought it would be cooler if they were chrome and not silver. Damn you S&M!

Ride them uncut for a few weeks and you'll get hooked like me and never want to cut them.

MadMan- I bet you would't have any trouble at all. And if you do, they have a great warranty program thingy. Word.

FitRider 921 04-08-07 10:27 AM

I kinda want Scerbos now.

premiumbmx2005 04-08-07 10:56 AM

oh, i cut my seat tube.

wethepeople 04-08-07 11:24 AM

How do you like the Martinez grips? I hear they're like pop cans on the bars they're so thick.

premiumbmx2005 04-08-07 11:59 AM

i love em. once they wear in a little theyre prime.

KinetikBiker 04-08-07 01:26 PM

I like your bike Premium.

Clean.

eightdip 04-08-07 03:10 PM

The grips are like coke cans, i can't stand em. And they get really sweaty

gnr rocker 04-08-07 03:35 PM

thats what she said

eightdip 04-08-07 03:48 PM

Haha

FitRider 921 04-08-07 07:52 PM

Haha. I like the bike as well. I want to go fix up my bike bikeguide style (cut stuff).

KinetikBiker 04-09-07 06:53 AM

Cutting stuff isn't bikeguide. I have no problem with people cutting bars, seatposts, grips, pegs and seatubes or even triming your dropouts down a bit. Although i prefer not to do it, except the grips.

FitRider 921 04-09-07 09:54 AM

Yeah, I think I'm going to trim my axles when I have some time to spare. I just want it to look cleaner.

MadMan2k 04-09-07 10:08 AM

I've felt like trimming my axles, but I never know if I'm going to feel like getting 2 more pegs and putting them all on so I haven't done it yet. If I build up a new bike next year it'll be pegless so I'll cut them and probably run pegs on this one if it's still in one piece.
