One of the people I know welded underwater for a while, but he couldn't take the stresses and just became a metal worker. It's a lot harder then most people think.
Also, four of my buddies just got their C-Ticket, makes me look bad

Crappy pic of the MacNeil as it sits now. I'll get better pics later when it isn't on my repair stand.

I want some of those bars now. Except I think I might bend them, I throw my bike pretty often, either on purpose or by accident, and shorter bars = less leverage to bend...

Get the XLT's, I doubt you will bend them.

I love it WTP!
Allthought it would be cooler if they were chrome and not silver. Damn you S&M!
Ride them uncut for a few weeks and you'll get hooked like me and never want to cut them.
MadMan- I bet you would't have any trouble at all. And if you do, they have a great warranty program thingy. Word.

How do you like the Martinez grips? I hear they're like pop cans on the bars they're so thick.

Cutting stuff isn't bikeguide. I have no problem with people cutting bars, seatposts, grips, pegs and seatubes or even triming your dropouts down a bit. Although i prefer not to do it, except the grips.

I've felt like trimming my axles, but I never know if I'm going to feel like getting 2 more pegs and putting them all on so I haven't done it yet. If I build up a new bike next year it'll be pegless so I'll cut them and probably run pegs on this one if it's still in one piece.
