I used to ride a mongoose. And I sold the frame to a friend and he beats the crap out of it and its holding up fine. There is nothing wrong with mongoose in my opinion, that bike is a fine complete for a begginer

Like I said in a previous thread about this bike, it's basically the same set up as a Fit pro, and it's cheaper. It's up to you to decide weather you want to ride a complete from a company with a fairly good rep, or a complete from a comany that most people think makes crap. Take into consideration that most people don't really have a clue. Neither bike is better then the other.
