Fenders on a BMX are more fruity than RuPaul.

Smittyben: Welders aren't exactly hard to come by...

Mude: They are not cheap, but they can be worth it. I have a Lincoln Light Duty that I bought used for about $500, gas isn't overly expensive, don't know how much to fill because I haven't had to fill mine yet. And they aren't really hard to use either, just practice.

For the rest of you idiots, Expat has a BMX with fenders.

Welders can be bought for $30 if you look in the newspapers/classifieds, although they aren't good.

Welders can also be like, $10,000 for a good set up.

If you go to walmart you can sometimes find a 40 amp stick welder for 80 dollars. Its not much but it will do what you need it to. plus no buying fuel, seeing how it is ran on electricity.

Picked mine up at a flea-market for $75. The guy drilled his tip so he could use bigger wire! I bought it for 'parts' (and I already knew what was wrong). Bought a new pack of tips and it works fine.

If you do research and know what you're looking for, you can find pretty good deals.

I thought of something, but I've already been discouraged for saying things that could hurt certain ethnic groups.

THe little kids in my neighborhood have rear fenders that attach to the seat post. I'd imagine they get them from any x-mart.

living in the northwest, definitely not unthought of to fender up the bmx.
had no idea about water up the back until it happened to me while riding in rain. except on a bmx, it's your ass that gets the soaking, not a streak up your back. presumably because you do so much riding off the saddle on the bmx.
i'm now curious if the ass gets wiped riding fenderless on a road bike. haven't taken chances.

i have an sks quick install fender for the rear. it's made for mountain bikes and it's a bit big, kinda goofy but gets job done. there are probably less obvious ones you can get that are equally convenient.
