Civics are good cars, whether you get an SI to tune and race, or just a regular civic as a good very reliable vehicle for getting around, you can't go wrong.

Honda Civic=great gas milage=less money spent on gas=more money for bike stuff.
get a VW diesel, convert it to run bio-diesel (or straight veggie oil)

i love my civic. the only problem is terrible trunk space for bike.
camarys (the older ones like...98ish) are great. decent gas milage...huge trunks for bodies and bikes.
i drove my parents civic on a real road for the first time yesterday (with my parents of course)

yea...i drive a 1999 Kia Sephia...not great on trunk space, but with the rack-system (Yakima) i don't have any problems.
Driven to Maryland 4 times, Oregon 1 time, Texas once, Michigan's UP 2 times, Duluth (Minnesota) and Madison (Wisconsin) too many times to count...great gas milage, but it IS a Kia.

I like those GTI's too.
I saw a Ferrari 360 convertible in town the other week, that thing was so nice. Engine sounded great.

Honestly I would feel like an [butthole] driving around in one of those things.
I want a DeLorean, I don't think I've even seen one in person. Just watched Back to the Future 2 and 3 last night, great series.
