A seat post is a seat post. Let's be serious here. If you need pivitol they are pretty much all the same give or two a few ounces and shapes. And regular guts are all pretty much the same nowadays. You kids are silly.

There's a bit of a difference between a normal pivotal post and a pivotal stump post.

Not that a hacksaw cant fix.

Also, my 1664 post and aitken seat are lighter then most pivotal combo's anyways.

No, the work to fix a regular Macneil post to make it into a stump is absurd because you have to file the whole top. I'll probably end up ordering the new Animal seatpost.

And so are my brakes, bars and everything else on that bike .

Also, i'm running pegless on the MacNeil just to **** up the frame so I can get a new one. Even though the rear triangle is twisted isn't enough of a reason for me.

If you wanted to mess up the frame, wouldn't using pegs do that just a wee bit quicker? Or are you trying to do pegless grinds? Your frame is nice- I wouldn't ruin it.

Bikes: Nashbar CR-5

So picked up these two today, first real jump into bmx...

both Haro backtrail X1s...the black one is in need of just a little tune up, and the blue needs alot more(including the obvious tube up front).

Pegless grinds, and my frame is already twisted.

Also, **** three piece hubs, I destroyed my front hub so bad tonight the bike is barely ridable. Time for a new front wheel.

What did you to your front wheel? Did you try pegless smiths?

One of the guys i ride with does alot of pegless stuff. He's fairly smooth so he usually get 'em on his dropouts and doesn't kill anything. I just think he should get some pegs and cut them down a bit.
