I loved my Haro slim bars, i just wish they werent so slim, haha.
That DK stem is good.
You have the best headset.
And those grips are horrible unless you have small hands, they are really thin.

wethepeople 10-03-06 09:18 AM

Ya, I broke an old pair of slim bars, but I got these for $15 so i'm running them.
The stem is pretty good, but I like my fit, ALOT more.
The headset is off of The General, but becuase my Heaton has a intergrated I couldnt use it.
The grips were free, so I dont really care.

Mmm freee grips.

I got some free DK vice grips and they sucked really bad.
I blame the fact that they were red, becuase i think its like a different compound used in colored grips.
My freind had the black versions and they were nicer.

MadMan2k 10-03-06 11:23 AM

Those DK vice grips are horrible, they get all smushed and melted and then they hurt your hands. Edwins stay comfortable for a while, ODI's probably do for even longer because the design doesn't let rubber tear off as easily

mude 10-03-06 01:05 PM

i love my primo v's

i think i might do a bike check later tonight

FuzzyRyder 10-03-06 01:55 PM

Odi longnecks are the only way to go.

Its true.

I liked my Primo v-grips, and the Odyssey earth science grips i had, but these ODI's are by far my favorite.

Next im trying Ruben grips, haha.

wethepeople 10-03-06 07:10 PM

Ruben grips are SOOOOO nice, I have them on my Macneil.

Yeah, one of the people i ride with has them ,and they felt nice, but kinda seemed to wear down quick, but that doesnt matter, thats the one that i always get new on my bike the most, grips.

Ya, for a beater bike it's not to bad.

Although coming off of a 25lb bike with incredible brakes to a 34lb bike with shattacular brakes is a bit weird. Also, I blew up the bottom bracket yesterday.

For example on of my first few posts would be like: "yeah...that...was...cool..."

And then i started using less periods and replacing them with "haha" and capital letters.

I'm tired of being the grammar cop. But the fish's 9 posts may be some kind of record.
