MIne was about $17k, out the door. I'm still under 18 grand with insurance for a year, and they even pay for the first 2 oil changes. Hard to beat that. You can spend more on rims, more stereo, and all sorts of crap for the body. I just need a roof rack, so we can take all the bikes on family trips.

Yeah, they're ugly as hell IMO. I hope other car companies don't copy that style, or everything on the road will look dumb.

I guess looks aren't everything though, and maybe in 50 years they'll be thought of as really sexy looking compared to the current cars then.

It's all in the eye of the beholder. At least it doesn't share the same shape as nearly every other cheap compact out there. And it really does have a lot of room inside. I wanted one before I moved, which was before they came out. I thought it would look good parked next to my Landcruiser - the tall box.
