Basically, it was an off white to begin with, then i had painted it with gold, but not taken it apart, so it was only gold in certain places, then i decided that i liked black, so i sprayed some black on without taking it apart, then got a call from a freind saying some good people were riding our trails (turned out to be Jon Saunders who writes for Ride BMX and Brad Simms(freaking good), who i would almost call locals now...) anywho, i just wiped the paint with a rag, and went out to ride, leaving one nasty ass paintjob.

Haha.

Why did u switch your elementary?

wethepeople 08-30-06 11:37 PM

Didnt like it very much, sold it for the same price I got it for and it didnt match the bike.

FuzzyRyder 08-30-06 11:40 PM

I see... what didn't you like about it? Would you recommend getting one or is it really that bad?

wethepeople 08-30-06 11:45 PM

It was just kind of a hassle, every time I moved my bars I would have to preload my headset again. The one allen key thing got old pretty quick. I always worried about ovalizing my fork/bars. Dont get me wrong though, it's a good stem, just not right for me. Plus I prefer the look of the fit.

one thing I will miss though is the weight, damn that thing was light.

eightdip 08-31-06 04:45 AM

i still adore mine!

If you talking about the Biketopia sticker, no way!
One of the people i ride and dig with got them made, and only locals and diggers get them.
Haha.

premiumbmx2005 09-01-06 01:09 PM

that doesnt change anyhitng, it looks dumb...only beacause of where you put it

MadMan2k 09-01-06 01:34 PM

At least people are less likely to steal it with that paintjob and ugly stickers on it :p
