Yeah, probably the next thing to get when I get some money. The spokes are all bent but I'm still amazed it lasted that long.

...thats what she said.

Until i gave one to mude... |
i dont know how people can ruin front wheel unless you grind/run into brick walls.
|
or you have a single wall wheel...
|
i had a single wall in the front for years and it never even had a wobble.
|
Yeah, that's true... my front wheel is just dandy... my poopy-butt jalco in the back is not so great... but not beaten to a pulp yet
|
im probally going to 'revamp' my whole front end. new rim, fork, headset, and a stem.
christmas, baby, christmas. |
Yeah, I wish... I probably won't get any bike parts for xmas because my mom is going to tell everyone not to buy me bike stuff because she doesn't want me to ride again... but I'm gonna ask anyways because that's all I want anyways.
EDIT: If I didn't have old Welgo's with most of the pins missing, I probably would not have experienced my injury in the first place. |
Jim C's!!
|
Precisely.
|
i finally got my bike--fit pro 2007. riding that thing is like an orgy of a 1000 virgin lesbians....in my mouth. black/red paint job, smooth (almost silent when riding) not too heavy, i'm very satisfide with it. but the first upgrade will be pedals (jim c's probably). but is the extra $$$ for sealed bearings/magnesium needed? my current pedals have very little grip w/tiny nubs.

I can't even explain what he managed to do to it. |
I wouldn't get sealed pedals because they aren't worth it, most people just have unsealed. Magnesium pedals are quite nice if you don't do pedal grinds and you don't mind forking up the extra $15 or so to save a few ounces.

The bearings stay cleaner and smoother. They also spin slower so on no footed tricks and such they don't move like crazy. Plus the Wellgo Mg-52's i got were pretty cheap for sealed and Mg, and light too. |
how are they holding up?
|
They are $50 instead of $30 like most other pedals... it's almost twice as expensive.
|
I have Sealed Jim C's just because they last longer and feel alot smoother. And also what Kinetic Said about spinning
|
Ya, sealed Jim C's here, I like that they dont spin on no footed tricks, plus they dont wear as fast.
|
since im broke i got unsealed...for only 5 dollars w/ extra pins and a sticker.

Mude has had them long than i have, and neither of us are having any trouble. No pedal grinds or pegs for me though ,so they don't get much abuse... |
i do pedal stalls on quarters...i wonder if that would do anything to them
