What is a good company for a novice BMX racer ????

redline makes some excellent race bikes, the DK fury is somewhat nice, free agent has a wide array of nice bikes, as does GT (look up the pro series or the ultra box if you have deep pockets). There are always the more expensive rides though, like the S&M Challenger or the Standard 125R are GREAT steel race frames with warranties, or there are the classier aluminum offerings like the Pro Concept (DAMN stiff frame with plentiful sizing options, but BEGS for high end parts, you'll see!!)

Other than that, shop around, your Local Bike Shops will be more than happy to find something to suit your needs, and to find a GREAT bmx oriented local bike shop, attend a local race and find a shop that sponsors one of the better teams, chances are, they know their stuff!!

no...eastern doesnt make any race bikes that I've ever heard of.
