24" Diamond Back ID
I recently picked this up and was curious of a few things.
What year do you think it may be AND what do you think it may be worth? I have never seen a 24" bmx bike that was not a traditional DJ like you see these days. I am curious if I found something good or are these everywhere and I am just outta the loop.
Your input please!

What, what?
The current 24" bikes are "dirt jumpers" with suspension fork and a low profile handlebar. They look nothing like a BMX bike.
I love bike forums, they can be so much help at times, then other times....not so much.
Cue OP flame in 5 4 ....

Is it 1 1/8 looks like it is and Whats the serial, im guessing 1999ish, im not sure of value, diamond backs were never worth very much and 24" BMX were and still are pretty popular for racing these so called "DJ" bikes have only been around for a few years, and have very little similarities traditional bmx frame IMO. Im assuming thats a cast steel 3 piece which i personally like them they are not favored at all amongst most. Overall id say its worth maybe 150$ really just depends on the market, this was probably made before DB sold out so its not worthless. Someone over at BMX museum may pay more. But its by no means rare.
EDIT: it sounds like im bashing but im not i personally like DB just for some reason most dont so the values have kinda dropped Its a good looking bike for sure

Thank you Sir.
I wasn't my plan on flipping it, but now you got me thinking.
It's sound like I got this bike at a steal if your caculations are correct. I plan on keeping as it is a fun little cruise around the neighborhood bike. Also, it's helping me relive my youth a little. I actually took it the local dirt jumps. Turns out, I still got it. LOL (NOT)
But I will say this, if someone wants to give me 400 bucks for it. I could be persuaded.
