First off... I love this seat! But any idea of brand or year range of this bike? The serial # is: I17004615

I would say you found it. The "T" head tube badge is definitely Trek.

your bmx bike you got is a 1985. on your serial number it tell the year and the mouth, because I look up my serial number for myself, that why I can tell you the year on your bmx bike.
