Pat Schoolen rocks, he's a good guy, and he rides.
Dans has done some VERY shady things in their past and as a company are very questionable for any sort of dedication to the sport. Copying T1 shirts, copying Graveyard handlebars... They are shady and they screw over RIDERS when they do shady things. If you gave Dans Comp $10,000.00 and they didn't give you one product or item in return, then you would understand why T1 doesn't do business with them. T1 shirts were VERY popular and instead of buying them and supporting a rider owned company, Dans made fake shirts, sold them to the public WITHOUT letting people know they were buying 'copies', and kept all the profits.
Very shady...
But, they also have consistently had low prices, fast service, and treated me well. I order from them when Pat doesn't have what I need. Dans has gotten me out of jams when Albes and others have treated me poorly.

but I don't know and I don't care. that was so long ago, that it's not really the same Dans Comp. I do believe that Dan owned the company when that went down. he no longer owns it.....

well by what i see dans comp is has the cheapest prices around. they probally get the stuff like frames, cranks, and others on holesale, therefore get to sell the products cheaper. hmm...isnt that what walmart does? yes. if dans gets me angry ill just go to albes. what ever makes you happy. go pick where you want to shop and shop there, just remember there will always be other peoples oppinion of that stor or shop youll have to decide what works for you!!!!

I just want to say you can order from who want to order from but Dans comp is still the biggest bmx mailorder company contributor to the sport and gives away more free merchandise cosponsoring events and contests. Also dans is a bike shop along with a hi-tech warehouse attached. Riders like you and me work there don't listen to all the speculation take it from me I know.
