Does this bike look legit? Is it look like a good deal? The asking price is $1900.

De Rosa Nuovo Classico - Restored 56CM
Totally stripped downed, every part, nut, bolt component cleaned and polished. Frame and fork sand blasted and powder coated metallic powder blue.

The bike might be legit, it might even have a beautiful ride. But the restoration has taken much of its value because it has been stripped of the bright parts that were common to frames of that vintage.

Pass. Thick powder coat kills this. Repaints always raise questions. For that price you could get a mint example with original paint and top-shelf parts.

Failed to sell last week on Ebay with a BIN of $2300.

What a beautiful bike that must have been at one time. Maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaybe for $1000 or so but yeah, the details are really ruined by the powder coat. Too bad.
