Seems like that's something to have worried about before making the purchase.

I have no idea what it's worth, but with the seatstay caps, the drops, the fork crown and lug cutouts, I think it's pretty safe to say it's not fake.

I cant estimate the price but it's a sweet frame. I'd turn that into a killer road machine.

Other than the top tube, the paint looks OK in the pictures; do you know anyone who may be able to match it? The rust on the fork may clean up with a little oxalic acid.

Maybe $300 considering the work it needs IMO.

Looks authentic to me. All the cutouts and pantos you'd expect to find.

FWIW, I picked up a professionally re-sprayed Super frameset for $425 in 2014 and thought it was a good deal at the time. My gut tells me you should try to get it at a price that puts you at $500-$550 sprayed and stickered.

The guide repair looks good to me. If you're unhappy with the work now is the time for a re-work.

You have a beautiful old bicycle frame there (and they are not making anymore old frames). I wouldn't worry about a few dollars. Repaint and restore and you'll have a prize you can enjoy the rest of your life.

Because paint is only original once, and the 2nd time around almost never looks as good as the original. I'd just touch up where really needed and leave the rest alone.
