1974 ItalVega Frameset
Hello All,
I am in the market for a new frame. Unfortunately, the first one i purchased has proven to be too big.
I was searching on craigslist and stumbled upon this. From what i've read, these frames have received a lot of praise.
What would be a fair asking price for something like this? I know markets vary. I unfortunately have no idea which model it is. If it helps at all, i live in Phoenix.
The seller is asking for $150.

I have not seen it in person. I'm trying to decide what i should offer, so i know whether or not it is even worth it to meet up with the guy.

If you have the time/tools/aptitude/space/pile of parts to build up this frame, I would have no problem paying $150 for that frame. If you don't, forget it.

Full columbus tubing frameset with the paint in pretty good condition and nice chrome on the fork crown and drop outs for $150, not bad.

Most Italvega were manufactured by Torresini who are more commonly known by their Torpado brand. It's a top level frame for the period, based on the Columbus decal and other features. IMO, that is a good price.
