Schwinn World Sport - $160?
Hello!
I have been doing some looking around for a schwinn world sport on Craigslist and came across this one. It appears to be in great condition and I would like to go meet the guy and check it out, but I wanted to know if this is a fair price to pay for the bike. I don't have a lot of knowledge on bikes or their value, but the price is right in the middle compared to other bikes like this on craigslist.
Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated.
Thank you!

Make sure to pull the seat post and stem which will ensure neither is rusted and stuck.
The seatpost, in the picture, is too low. The bike is too big for the rider.
Looks like an 89 model based on memory. If it stops and shifts well, that isnt an insane price. Not cheap, but not bad.

It is an '89, with a double-butted 4130 chromoly frame, hi-ten fork, alloy rims, Sun Tour derailleurs, and a 27 pound catalog weight. Retail price in 1989 was $259.95.
It appears to be in nice shape. $160 is a fair price IMHO.
