I would guess mid-80's Professional. DA 7400 6 speed means 85-ish, as does the under the BB cable routing. Nice flat fork crown. Likely SL tubing. Only chrome appears to be chain stay, so not a 'fancy' Merckx, but probably rides very nicely.
Definitely not late 80's or early 90's, even though the brake levers are later than the rest of the group. Paint loks to have a lot of scratches unless that's reflection.
I'd say $600-800 depending on the wheelset and actual condition. Merckx bikes are popular, but the real money is on the ones with more chrome and Campagnolo.

Thanks for your info Mackers and rrcardr.
i do have pictures of the sn but i still cant make much out of it there is a scratch on the second character on the drive side but it looks like 90 to me
It could be 9C though on the other side is a z above 8528
So it looks.
Z
8528. 90
The rear brake is still campy but the rest is dura ace
I do have two rear wheels one six and another 7 speed
Yes i really didn't take great care of it. I wasn't thinking when I was younger. The bike got put away many years ago as I now am on much newer rides. I just hate to see it not ridden often. Still rides great but im in the dirt on most of my rides so not even riding a carbon Trek road bike

9 on the drive side is frame size, so a 59cm seat tube, which looks correct from the side pictures.
Serial number places it in the 1986-ish time frame, same approximate time frame as six speed DA.

Z is code for ‘85 but my ‘85 Pro has a sloping fork crown, as did the ‘85 Pista I used to have. Cool bike at any rate.

Hi! Eddy Merckx Corsa 1986; C9 Z8528; 9 = 59 cm seat tube, C = Corsa, Z = fall 1984 - fall 1986, 8528 = summer 1986; The Corsa 1 series is the only EM that has a flat fork crown and "window" lugs. Best regards - Jacek
