1980-something Schwinn Le Tour Luxe
I bought this Schwinn Le Tour Luxe off Craigslist (mainly to get the unused Sidi shoes that came with it) for $75. I'm trying to figure out when it was made (seller didn't know exactly) and get a ballpark guess on how much it might be worth.
It has down-tube shifters and 15 speeds (3 x 5). It is pretty clean, although the cassette is a bit gunky. The frame is generally in good shape, except for some scratches by the cranks.
I've posted a bunch of photos on my flickr account.
Here are some of the better ones.

That is a real nice bike, must be worth double what you paid for it, and you get to keep the shoes!

Try more than that but they do not sell for this much, because of the Le Tour name (usually associate with the bike that was 2 steps above Varsity). This is probably the most incognito Columbus Tenax framed Schwinn bike.

+1 Unfortunately the LeTour name suggests a lower end bike. So a buyer would need to understand that this is not a lower end bike at all, its a decent vintage touring bike. Touring bikes sell at a premium to equivalent road bikes.
