Bianchi Reparto Corse
Hi I recently came by this frame and then decided to fix it up.
Serial no: D1836
I've had trouble identifying the frame and where it was built, its exclusivity etc. etc.
anyway despite all this i'm looking to enjoy the bike, today was its fist day on the city roads with me and it rides like a dream
Please advise:
1. The bike year and any other information you may have in mind .
2. What your cuff on the market value may be solely for the frame and headset, provided that it is in used but good condition with little wear.
3. What your cuff on the market value may be for the bike as a whole with all the below specs.
Also welcome any advice / ideas on improvements.
Any more info. you may want on the bike please don't hesitate to ask.
Frame 56cm Bianchi Colombus Genius Reparto Corsa
Headset Campagnolo Athena-Brev
Down tube mech CAMPAGNOLO VINTAGE C-RECORD GEAR LEVERS / SHIFTERS
Campagnolo vintage c record gear levers / shifter
Gear Cable Jag Wire, White
Handlebar Nitto RB-018-HT Bullhorn Handlebar 38cm
Seat Selle San Marco
Rims HP Plus son 700C Deep V 32hole
Hubs Miche Primato Syntesi Hubs - Shimano HG - 32sp - Black
Rear Cassette BBB Shimano / Sram Fit 9 Speed Road Bike Cassette 11-21
Tubes Specialized deep V valve
Tires Schwalbe

Thanks

Nice looking Bianchi, well the frame anyway those bars have to go! the Genius tubing is from '93ish to '96I think. can you post a better pic of the tubing decal and the Reparto Corse (RC) decal?
for most RC frames/bikes the model name was simply dirived from the frame material and group used, for example this frame was marketed different years as Cenius Chorus, or Genius and once simply as "Zap" for the Mavic Zap group used on it.
I do not like to get into values as they differ greatly. I am also not a fan of parting out bikes but in this case very little except the headset (is it Campi or Miche?) may have come on the bike. there fore I think the frame would sell better and quicker than the complete bike. if those Record shifters are of the Doppler (retro friction) style I know a young lady who is interested in them.

+1, it's a Bianchi Genius, though I think we can safely narrow the year to 1994 or 1995.

I have a 56cm '96 Bianchi Reparto Corse, made with Thron tubing. The fork is chrome and has Columbus decals on it and that is all. Anyone know what the fork weighs?
Thanks!
Thanks!
