Trying to identify and value my Bianchi
I have a Bianchi road bike that was professionally rebuilt in 1991. The bike was originally that famous pale blue. It was stripped of labels and repainted. Every component has been upgraded over the years, so the frame is all I have for references.
The frame is stamped with the following series of letters/numbers.
"6G" "20056"
I know it is a steel frame bike.
Bianchi eagle engraved into tops of forks
"BIANCHI" engraved into frame rods rising from rear cassette at seat post
"B" embossed onto lower tube at headset
Seamless frame tubing
Any and all help appreciated.
Components now include:
Campi Ambrosio Stem/Bars
Shimano 600 SIS crank, derailleur, shift/brake levers
Specialized saddle and seat post
Wolber Gentleman GTA wheels
Look pedals

Hello BMWHO, welcome to the forums.
There is no such thing as "Campi Ambrosio Stem/Bars". Campagnolo and Ambrosio are separate companies and I am not aware that Campagnolo ever made handlebars or stems. If they did it was likely back in the '50 and early '60s.

I am all but sure that I have a set of pictures of that exact bicycle. Sadly, I cannot access them until I get back from my Winter's ride in Jamaica.
The bike is of Asian origin, Japan, as I recall. It is a well made machine, probably about half to three quarters of the way up the Bianchi treachery ladder. I have owned a few of these bicycles, and they have sold for between $150 and $350. Value, by the way, depends on where you are located, your marketing skills, the size of the bicycle, the condition of the bicycle and whether or not is it original. Sadly...
The OP's has been repainted, dramatically diminishing the value, in my opinion.
I can supply a picture set when I get home, if you are interested.

You didn't say what color it was repainted. Many bikes are worth more if they have not been repainted. Most Bianchis are worth more in "that famous pale blue."
