Franklin Frames

I've been thinking of buying a Franklin Frames bike as part of a deal with another bike. In searching I've found that Franklin is a custom shop in OH that builds nice stuff but I don't know what a used one might be worth. The one I'm looking at is fillet brazed, don't know what type of tubing, and it looks like it could use paint. It was built in the early 90's so it's got DT bosses and a 1" headtube. Anyone have a clue? I'm really looking at the deal for the other bike so I'd probably end up selling this one to cover some of the cost but I don't want to overpay for this one and hose myself.

Although it may be a nice frame I don't put a lot of value in a bare frame, especially one that needs paint. Does it come with a fork? Even for a nice custom frame I don't think I'd go more than $100 just due to the cost of parts to build it up.

Picutres might help if you have any.

I would definitely pay more than 100 for a Franklin frame! I don't know what they are asking for it, but if it's reasonable and it fits, it's a great frame. If you don't want to spend money on paint, powder coating looks nice on smooth filet brazed frames.

Depending on the price, condition and fit I would SERIOUSLY consider that frame.
