1987 Trek 2500 Composite frame
Hello, I picked up the bike in the attached pic recently and the frame is too small, but I would like to keep the components. Any idea as to value of frame and fork? Bike is in excellent shape with very few signs of use. Thanks!

The component geoup is irreleveant, as the OP is keeping them anf just want the sell the frame and forks.
The 2500 was a decent CT frame for it's era, the real drawback being the aluminum fork. Assuming excellent condtion, about $125-$175 for an average market.

More like just $100 for that frameset. Its a 25 year old composite frame. Composite frames have little interest around here anyway. Best way to sell it is to find another donor bike, with lesser components, build it up and sell it.

I think as long as the composite frame is in very good close to mint condition, it can attract many bidders and high bids on a good day.

I hope you are right, as I have a Giant Cadex 980 that needs a new home.
I bought it for it's Superbe Pro wheel set and 600 tricolor components.
