Help identify this Eddy Merckx
Hi All,
I'm new to this forum, from Cape Town, South Africa.
I have the opportunity to buy the Eddy Merckx frame in the picture, including a Capagnolo BB, headset and fork for $115.
I cant determine the model, age or even if it's a real EM. I know it's not a great foot, but unfortunately it's the only one I have, and I'm hoping there's someone out there who has seen something similar before and can shed some light on it.

Looks to me like it is an "Alu Sprint" or perhaps a "Gara" but I cannot be sure, ask for a couple of drive side photos as the model name will appear on the top tube. It is an aluminium frame and fork, whatever it is and it is definitely a real Merckx, that paint job is pretty distinctive. For $115, that is a pretty decent deal if it is your size.

I think it is an Eddy Merckx Alu-Mega frame. The price is great!
