1949 Schwinn... Need more info!

I realize these are awful pictures... if I need to I'll take some more. I was cleaning out my garage and came across this bike. Must have been given to me by my grandmother and I had just forgotten. I looked up the serial number and it says it was made 9/20/1949. I think Im right? Serial number is F221003. I know nothing about bikes especially vintage bikes. Should I just throw it out? Or is it possibly worth something? Might just keep it though because its cute. Very small though... I think it might be meant for a child or teen. Can anyone give me some information or advice as to how I could find out more about it?

The tank, Schwinn "spaghetti" font, upswept rear chain guard, and the saddle all lead me to believe it's a 1960s bike. The serial number, F221003, was also used on June 6, 1962. Unfortunately, the photos are of the non-drive side, so any model name silkscreened on the chain guard is not visible. I would guess it's a 1962 Fiesta in Flamboyant Blue.

These are heavy bikes with practically indestructable electro-forged frames, and were turned out by the hundreds of thousands. It's not particularly rare or valuable. The retail price in 1962 was $50 for the coaster brake model and $60 for the 2-speed model.

Ya know I dunno anything about old Schwinns..but that bike is kinda cool and my wife would look über sexy on it so it'd be invaluable to me.
