Mystery tire size
Have a customer bike that we have tried 700, 27, and 26 on. 27 is too big and 26 is too small. The rim is a 21mm inside width. Customer hasn't been able to get the bike to us but thinks its a mid 80's Free Spirit. I realize this is pretty vague but any direction would be helpful.

in the 70's Schwinn had kind of an oddball tire size on 26", cannot recall if that went to 27 inch or not, Free Spirits were Sears bikes, but most had 26" wheels, maybe the Schwinn ones.

Are you trying 26x1.75 or 26x1 3/8? If it is an old free spirit 10spd it could be the 26x1 3/8, that would be a bit larger in diameter than the 26x1.75
