WTB Brooks B66 Black

I would like a black B66 for my 1955 Phillips 3-speed. It has the original saddle which is fairly comfortable, but I prefer Brooks. I prefer one with some patina, as my bike is faded and obviously loved and used. However I'm not a leather officianado, so one that doesn't require more restoration than a little rub down with proofide.

I can pay cash or trade. I have an almost new with box Brooks B67 that I'm not using. Please send a pm if you've got something. Thanks.

Not sure how to change title of post. I will also consider a black B72 saddle. Thanks. Really want black with double rales. Don't care too much about springs.

Got an old B-72 from the 60's if you can't find a 66.

Hi. Thanks! Is it black? How's it look as far as leather around the rivets, etc.?
Appreciate your response.

Bikes: Anything with a full record group.

There's an online bike shop that is physically located in Ireland called Slaine or slane cycles. They got me a new one for the best price I could find on the net. Came with a little bag and cool brooks magazine. Was a good experience.

Is the Brooks 67 a single or double rail model? I might be interested in such a saddle for my Motobecane.

The B67 is single rail, B66 double. I've read that that is the only difference. The B67S is also readily available and I was not able to find a B66L or modern equivalent.

I have an NOS B66S bought many years ago. Maybe it's NLA.

Yes I saw that one and it's gorgeous, but more than I wanted to spend. Thanks though & good luck on the sale.

Wondering if you have a link or name of the online shop where you picked up your seat? Thanks for the help. Mike

I already own a B67 but it's single rail. Want a double rail saddle, at least at this point. I might change my mind though.

For what it's worth, you might be more comfortable on a B-66s, the womens model.
