88 Schwinn Voyageur Low Rider Mounting Points
1. Does the low rider attachment points on the 88 Voyageur fork use a M6 bolts??
I checked the catalog scans (Waterford site) and the catalog does not provide the bolt size.
A M5 bolts fits right through the sleeve
2. Is the attachment point a full length threaded sleeve through the fork?
3. Was there a "standard" in the 19080's for low rider fork mounting points as far as bolt sizes???
I bought an Atoc LiteBeams Mid Beam light mounting fixture which munts to the low rider attachment point. The 5mm bolts fits right through the sleeve. It seems I need a M6 bolts. Would like to confirm bolt size.

Sorry John, I can't help you, my Voyageur SP is an 84.
It does seem that most Voyageurs usually get passed on to new owners with those bolts intact.

If the bolt slides through with no resistance, I think you're still okay. That sleeve may not be threaded. Just put a star washer between the fork and the light mount (so it doesn't slip or rotate) and put a nyloc nut on the end of the bolt and you should be fine for many miles.
