The Cimarron turned out great! Like I mentioned- I think that color green is perfect.
I love the appointments on this bike- fillet brazed in the front, lugged in the back, the lugged unicrown fork... It's nice that it has Canti mounts instead of the Roller Cam/U-Brake mounts- that gives you options galore. The one odd thing about this bike- as the top of the line bike- it has a "Schwinn Chicago" headbadge instead of having the specific model like on the Paramounts, Voyageurs, Tempos and even the High Sierra.
I think it would be awesome to get a bastardized set of Schwinn decals- a "starburst- script Schwinn- starburst" decals for the downtube and starburst fork decals, the Schwinn safety decal and the "S" Chrome Molybdenum for the seat tube.

I've wanted to redo a Criss Cross at my father in law's house- with a Brewster Green powder coat- (that's THE color of the 1899 Schwinn catalog ) Being able to go with a very "classic" Schwinn decal setup...
the *Schwinn* downtube decals (in white)
The Schwinn cross decal (in white) at the top of the seat tube
The chrome molydenum decal on the seat tube, just above the bottom bracket
The starburst fork decals (in white)
And maybe the "hat in the ring" on the seat tube- kind of a cocky, historical Schwinn nod...
The Racer decal set has the Schwinn, the cross and the hat...
the Paramount set has the "Arnold, Schwinn" decals... and the color Schwinn crosss...
Yeah, I've given this one a bunch of thought...

Wow, that looks so great. I tried a brush job and gave up with horrible brush strokes everywhere.
