New to me huffy

Picture doesn't do this bike justice is as clean a 30 + year old bike as I have seen. I wanted it because a huffy 3 speed was my first geared bike And I won the first one

Bikes: Lots of English 3-speeds, a couple of old road bikes, 3 mountain bikes, 1 hybrid, and a couple of mash-ups

Shimano or Sturmey Archer rear hub? It looks like a Shimano to me, based upon the the shift lever. It appears to be in great condition and clean (but I note the garden hose in the pic). How does it ride?

Shimano, rides good. As I do with about all 3 speeds I ordered a 22 tooth cog to gear it down some. Yes it is extremely clean ( the garden hose runs across the blacktop to an under ground pipe that goes to the garden) I will dial it in to my likes once I get the cog
American Huffy's say Dayton Oh. but that was corporate office They were built in Celina Oh. I graduated from there a looooooooooooooong time ago
I would guarantee I know a couple people involved in making this bike
