Another camera junkie.
I've got a bunch of lenses as well, but this is probably bad enough.

@ncrnelson - I have that configuration of the T32, grip, winder, and OM! When the XA's came out I was very interested but didn't get one. My OM bodies are black.

Ok, you've convinced me.
Olympus OM2 with 50 1.8 MIJ, multicoated 100 2.8, multicoated 50 3.5 macro, and 28 3.5. This is my overall favorite camera, the build quality of the camera and lenses is fantastic and the meter is great, there's also just something about it.
And the Minolta family:
In the back left is a 135 3.5 Rokkor-X. All fabulous cameras, the XE-7 has a bit of mirror de-silvering in the prism, but still works great. I lusted after one for a long time before I found this one. The Hi-Matic E is a great little program only camera, great for snap shots with a 40 f1.7 lens and surprisingly reliable meter. and of course the venerable SRT 101, still has an old working mercury battery that's probably older than me.

Well, my username explains one of my other hobbies. JW are my initials and SE30 is a very old Macintosh computer (circa 1989 or so). Here's what one looks like if you're unfamiliar:
Another thing I have recently gotten into is Tonka trucks but I cannot find any pictures of the few I have (one is in the process of getting restored)
My main hobby is toy trains, though they don't get much use when it is this nice out. I've got two layouts in our basement, belong to a modular club (where each member builds a few tables and we put them all together to make a big table), and also have a train under the tree for a few months at Christmas time.
Here's the train room (it's always at least this messy...):
This is the tin layout just outside the train room:
Here's our Christmas layout last year:
And here are my two modules for the local train club:
The tables only have the roads and the track permanently installed so I can rearrange buildings depending on what show we are doing. I try not to have the same things on the tables for two consecutive shows.

Finally found the pic of my small Olympus stuff. You will likely notice the Lionell from my childhood as well as the Matchbox cars. Everything is packed away for the time being.

Vintage two line sport kites. These are from the early eighties.
Northshore Radical
VIP-vented for high wind
Kona-ultralight for light wind
My daughter used them in competition precision flying. They fly slow and straight and cut sharp corners. There are lots of more modern kites, but she preferred these. They were originally framed in Easton carbon over aluminum tubes I re-framed them in lighter and stronger full carbon tubes and made new bridles for them.
She used another older design for kite ballet. It's called a Pizazz by Dick Barnes. All of his kites are custom made, but not for her. We bought them used from a national champion. We have seven of them.
I think there are about 25 of them in a closet. She has lost interest. I fly them, but not nearly as well as her.

Got a few vintage cameras.
My dad's Kodak Retina that may have traveled with him from Sicily to Germany. I know he had a camera and I know it was a Kodak 35mm, but not sure this is the one.
Retina_1 by L Travers, on Flickr
My first 35mm was a Leica IIIf. Later bought an Olympus OM-10 and ultimately an Olympus OM-4.
But if I am said to collect anything , it would be bootleg albums/CDs by The Who. I have over 200 boot CDs and LPs.

As promised - my other hobby (I avoided dead animal shots in all but two - scroll past if it's not your thing). Most are Spanish workingman's guns and bought as "projects" (sound familiar?), but none are safe queens as the last photo indicates:
'43 Ugartechea:
'61 GIB 10 ga.
'64 Zamacola
'69 Ugarteburu
'69 A Zoli 20 ga. (I couldn't resist a good deal on an Italian)
'70 FA Discoverer (my first project - like my bikes, I don't restore to like-new condition - see the evidence on the stock?)
And my two sexiest Spanish ladies:
'82 AyA XXV (my first "nice" purchase)
'80 Mateo Mendicute (my last "nice" purchase and "last one"... but n+1 exists outside of the cycling world as well )
Classic Holland & Holland Royal style engraving.
If you think Zeus were good at copying Campy gear, what you see above is but a small sampling of what the Spanish (particularly the Basque region) did with English doubles over the last century.
I love fine scroll work which is probably why I love fine lug details.

Brings back memories! We couldn't afford a Mac, but we had them in high school. Middle school had Apple IIe's - code was written on the wall for word processing - old school.

I was in the Army for a year and a half before I ever used any of the mess kit stuff... and even then it was to stir up some instant coffee in the barracks...
When I was deployed, I started using the canteen cup all the time for coffee- I somehow acquired a brand new one- my intent was to continue using a canteen cup for drinking coffee... I think that one is still in the plastic in a box at my parents' house.

@SJX426 posted a nice pic of a Lionel engine.
Wow. My twin and I were given a Lionel set with that same engine #2055 when we were 4 y.o. It got enhanced pretty much every year and we set it up with it regularly. Tom still has the entire setup, had the engine overhauled and various stuff upgraded. His grandchildren enjoy it now.
[Have I ever mentioned how I hate most pic-hosting sites? I tried to quote the pic but it wouldn't show up. Last week I wanted to view a video by @northbend but my browser went into an infinite loop of asking for permission to execute a Flash image. Have I ever mentioned how I hate most pic-hosting sites?]

@jimmuller - sorry about not copying! This engine and tender were given to me on my 10th BD. I also have a number of other cars and some Super O track to go with it and of course the big transformer with the 4 controls. Next time I pull it out I should do a picture inventory. About half the cars have steel trucks. Did some HO too before we started moving a lot.

I was a rock band roadie for 42 years, and of course I have been to a lot of cycling events also. A few years ago I put my t-shirt collection online. I was contacted by collectors who saw the photos.
This one, from the 1969 Atlanta International Pop Festival, sold for $700.
The Fillmore East sold t-shirts to concert-goers, but there was a special version that was only given to the artists. I got $400 for this one.

I am thinking of upgrading from my 928 to the 1020 with its 41 MP! Finding out that I like my Windows phone just fine, long battery life, good interface, enough good apps and super quality display. Integration with my work and home PC use is very nice.
