Show us your "other" prized CV collections!
Hello to all,
I know this is a bit off topic but it is "vintage" etc. so I hope you will indulge...forgive me if there is already a thread about this.
I believe that many of us have other hobbies/collections besides bicycles that we covet and I am wondering if you would care to share with us some of your "other" collections with the members on the Forum.....I don't think we would care if they are completely off the wall or not, bottle caps, can openers, bike shoes, fishing lures, wine corks etc. etc. you name it......I just think there would be a lot of interest in seeing your "second" prized keepers. If you could, perhaps a little explanation about why they are so special.
Here are a "few" of mine. I have quite a number of fountain pens dating from the late 1800's to the 1930's. I enjoy drawing with them, and like my bikes each one has its own personality. Some with more flexible nibs (nice for writing), others not so flexible (better for drawing) and so on.
I appreciate them because they were once a utilitarian device as well as one of status, long gone in this throw away world we live in but in my mind still things of beauty.....they have been cherished by their owners and have that "patina" that many of us look for in/on our bikes.
Regards, Ben

Pioneer sx-780 and KLH model 6 speakers with walnut case.
I'm 28 and really enjoy the classic asthetic and superior build quality but appreciate modern conveniences too. I have it setup to play via wifi from my phone and MacBook via an old Apple Airport. Sounds way better than modern stuff and it's easy access to an endless amount of tunes with Spotify or iTunes.

A year or so ago I would have my collection (3) of vintage 16ga shotguns. My Dad's Westernfield Montgomery Wards, pump, my oldest brothers Ted Williams Sears, and the next oldest brother's Stevens single shot. I for some reason inherited my Dad's gun but eventually all three came to me. had little use for them so I passed them along to another brother to enjoy with his stepson. OH if you my Ithaca it would have been 4

Italuminium, Let's see them anyway...collections start with a wish and getting one. I have been collecting them for years when you could have your pick out of the coffee can...so lets see those pens.

My wife and I have similar interests, medical antiques, taxidermy, antique and vintage funerary stuff. It is all real, much dating back to Victorian times, some skulls being 400years or so old. You asked.

That is a late 18th century medical teaching 'model' the bone is actually a section of skull, with a glass eye and muscle made with red wax and cotton, the nerves are also strands of cotton

I used to have a lot of vinyl, mostly British Invasion, but sold it all. I only kept my complete collection of all the studio albums by the Kinks, both UK and US releases.... really should have let them go as well, but it took soooo long to collect them I just couldn't.

Collecting is a pathology. Trust me, I know.

I don't really have pics handy, but I have far more musical gear than bicycle stuff. I probably have thirty or forty guitar pedals, eight or nine guitars, four amps and a bunch of microphones and other things.

@jetboy beautiful Moto Morini and daughter. I will be getting another motorcycle once my move is over. I too will be looking for a small displacement v twin but a 2 stroke, a Suzuki RGV250, had one for years, they are just fantastic bikes and now my forum name suddenly makes sense. Since being in the US I have had GSXRs, TL1000Rs, GSX1100 Katana, CBR, ZXR, FZR, YZF I even went with a couple off dual purpose machines but none have matched the RGV for enjoyment.
