Do me the honor of identifying this head badge
On a older brass badge like this I would clean polish it up and repaint it wouldn't take a lot of work to get it to look like new. Your probably not going to be able to find something to match a pre 40's Standard badge new or nos.

There is a place on line called Bicycle Heaven that appears to make reproduction head badges. I am not connected to them in any way, nor do I have any experience with them. May be worth looking into.

My guess would also be standard. The colour of the brass and specific angle of the chamfers around the edges are a dead giveaway... as is the word 'STANDARD' under the stylized S. 
Very unlikely that this is related to the contemporary Standard Byke Co who manufacture BMXs and stuff.
