Always cool when something that has been sitting as scrap becomes something good again.

To add to C&V content, last year at a car show in Sandusky, OH there was a guy with a very early Rambler. He couldnt get proper skinny tires for his old car so he fit mountain bike tires to it! Unfortunately they are a little bit too big so he cant go very fast or the tire will pop off the rim. I'll post a pic later when I find one.

Thanks for sharing.

Terrific stuff. Enjoyed it. Can understand where that fellow is coming from. There's some mind boggling tribute and rep's built. One I know of still in the werks... Cobra Daytona cpe. Hammered out in ally. Real jewel and supposedly dimensional to original with the original w.base. P. Brock has come around to pull numbers and put his keen eye to it.

LOng time dreaming of a replica. Especially one of these Becks. Have a donor car to plug and play for..... sigh. Old bicycles keeps one in check. Don't go down that path! ha

Also - spotted in the vid.
And for true petrol retro, sold this for a tidy sum. Glad the fellow who has it can use it vs. the closet.

This thread title had me envisioning something else, like the time I parked near a suburban Maryland shop next to an Alfa GTV with a curly-stay Hetchins on its La Prealpina roof rack.

^right on thumpism-
Funny you mention as while the TdF circus plays out, I've been looking at images of years back support vehicles. Thoughts of doing an old school team car. Would really love to have a diesel Pug slug 504 wagon.

edit: On topic

I've been working on this '70 Vette for way too long. Been procrastinating dash harness replacement for the past 2 years.

And up in NY my brother finally installed the TT LSX into out '70 Camaro

Thanks for posting!
Some of the footage in the 625/250 TRC video was shot on Piuma Rd., a favorite cycling road about 15 minutes from home.
Wouldn't mind seeing that car pass me sometime....
