This is how you do it !
How to remove a seat post from a frame's seat tube, when all other methods have failed.
Obtain a standard length hacksaw blade with fine teeth
You'll also need an electric hacksaw; the DIY variety is suitable, with a decent blade.
If there is more than two inches of post outside the frame, cut it off and discard it.
Solder the electric hacksaw's blade to the end of the fine-toothed hacksaw blade - the "pull back" end, not the "push to cut" end.
Plug it in, switch it on and off you go with all of the fine-toothed hacksaw blade inserted into the post
Take it gently and make two opposing cuts as far down as the bottom of the post. Hopefully it will reach the bottom.
You can squirt some penetrating oil down the tube if you feel like doing so.
When sawn through to the inside of the seat tube, put the exposed post in a vice, squash it and twist the frame !
Job done - and yes, it does work, !
Good luck.
