Bikes: '92 22" Cannondale M2000, '92 Cannondale R1000 Tandem, another modern Canndondale tandem, Two Holy Grail '86 Cannondale ST800s 27" (68.5cm) Touring bike w/Superbe Pro components and Phil Wood hubs. A bunch of other 27" ST frames & bikes.
I'll post some pics of that era Superbe levers later today.

[MENTION=209446]TugaDude[/MENTION] - well your comment cause me to check on that statement! There may be an exception, based on Velobase pics. SunTour SL-IP00-B, Sprint / Cyclone / Superbe Pro is a one design, 3 group exception. I happen to have these and like them very much.
I was looking to assemble a Superbe Pro group and got these on one of my CL purchases, don't remember which. Still need pedals, post and stem. The group is targeted for a Trek 760 build.

O.K...so neither are Superbe, and I'll continue to keep my eyes open for a set.
Depending on how well I can tackle some rust on a vintage Crescent, I'd like to use a Superbe group for that rebuild.
With that said, though, the finish on the bottom-pictured pair sure seems very nice.
I don't know about the quality of the innards, but I can't imagine a smoother finish.

Yes, after studying the VeloBase site, it appears that the second set is Suntour Superbe Pro, LD-4600, linked here: VeloBase.com - Component: SunTour LD-4650, Superbe Pro
Definitely close enough for me, and they sure do seem to have a good feel, and appearance.
Now I need to hunt up a set of nutted Superbe brakes...

Also the top levers have hex head tension bolts instead of the d ring bolts that Superbe levers normally come with. The mounts for the top levers also look like they came off a mount for stem shifters or maybe thumbie?

Well...I can see why you guys think so, but the second set is not Superbe.
I should have posted this pic at the beginning - below is the back side of the second set.
After looking at every shifter in the Suntour lineup, I'm still thinking mine are the clamp-on version of these Superbe Pros: VeloBase.com - Component: SunTour LD-4650, Superbe Pro

Nope, they are not. I've got both the Superbe original shifters and the Superbe Pro indexing shifters. Both are marked with "Superbe" or "Superbe Pro" on them. Unless someone is claiming that Superbe shifters were produced without being marked Superbe. I know the Mavic SSC shifters that were made by Simplex weren't marked, but the Simplex branded ones were. Are we thinking something like that? My vote is they are not.
Just because someone posts something to velobase doesn't mean they weren't wrong. There are many groups there that are incomplete and I've seen stuff that is miscategorized.

My 1983 Trek 700 has Superbe derailleurs, cranks and brakes.
The levers are model LD-2000 and came with white rubber covers over the ends. The rubber covers were deteriorated so I took them off. These look a lot like the original Cyclone levers.
