1st pic- Oh, cute. A Ross.

2nd pic- BONK/ an Ishiwata Ross????
then the Campagnolo Aero bottle...

So, to get it to Ross specs- are the Ishiwata tubes filled with lead to bring it up to weight?

They really tried, didn't they? I shouldn't be rude.

My first 'big kids' bike was a Ross. My sister recently found the receipts from when my dad bought our bikes.

Never thought I'd see two Campy aero bottles on a bike with safety levers. Looks like an awesome bike, though.

Edit: What's that thing on the downtube?

The Ross could likely find its way to you for shipping + a 12 pack of my choice of beer. The bike is dirty but like new.

that thing on the dt stabilizes the front wheel for some reason when parked.

maybe it's good if you have cats that like to knock your bikes over when leaning against the walls.

wonder if those bottle and cages are worth more than the bike.?.

How does it work? Does it keep the wheel from flopping over when you lean the bike against something?

Heh, you've got at least $125 worth of water bottles sitting there.

Convert them to something useful, pronto.

Hmmm... The beer... I'll get some out tomorrow.

The bike... man... I'd love to try out a nicely built Ishiwata EX frame. Heck- I think I've got parts to make that a beastly bike (imagine that rockin' 6400 bits)... but... I've got so many bikes, and so little time to ride...

Just looking at some stuff... it looks like @roccobike was looking for one of these around 10 years ago...

Man, it looks like my period key got stuck there...

Nope, I just like typing elipses...

@Flog00 wow...that one just does not look like you! But...the water bottles and flick stand are worth a lot! I have seen those bottles go for nearly $100 on eBay...and...a Flick Stand...one of the coolest bike accessories ever...particularly for a touring bike (hmmm...but maybe not a Tomii!).

I have had a couple Ross' go through this year...and...while I had a hard time believing it...they were actually decent bikes! And...I am pretty sure they were not Ishiwata (although they may have been...)...

So...what's the plans?

Sell the bottles, I have no bikes that the bottles would look good on.

And send the frame to Golden Boy if he wants it.

This bike found me, it's a friends bike and he asked me if I could sell it for him. He was surprised when I told him that the bike has little value beyond shipping costs, but the bottles were worth money

The flikstand is my commission!

Do you want the entire bike or the frame/fork? We can work something out. I think the frame is worthy of a nicer group of parts.
PM me.

While I haven't been looking for a Ross Signature, if I could find one my size at a decent price, I'd go for it. I had to part with mine because it was too small. I have a few nice vintage rides, but the Ross has a soft spot with me because it was the first 700C road bike I rode and the experience was a good one. Nine years later, I'm still a serious road biker.
