Current number
What's the current count at your house?
I did a count last night and I'm at 27 bikes
WTF? Not all are mine, 13 or so are waiting to be built or picked up or are in for tune ups, 3 are my wifes but still, that's a lot of bikes. Most are ready to ride or need minor tweaking to ride.

6 in the house currently. Bidding on another as we speak. Going to have to unload one soon.

10 total, including a tandem and one that could more or less be put out for trash day. 4 personal "serious" riders; enough to have choices but without overwhelming parts/consumable needs and maintenance schedules. Ymmv.

I sold my Super Sport to a friend and got rid of some co-op stuff so we are down to only rideable bikes right now. There are 5 of them (Schwinn Paramount, Specialized Hardrock, Cannondale XR800, Burley Samba, Raleigh Route).
May have a 6th by the time Sunday is over... if so, I'll post.

Eight are ready to ride, two of which are the GF's. I have two projects as well (one long term). That makes ten. More than I thought...
Oh yeah, one to give a once over and donate. Eleven. This 'collection' goes to eleven.

10. 5 are mine, 1 each for my wife and 3 kids and 1 waiting to be sold. I keep thinking 3 would be the perfect number of bikes for myself but can never stay at that number for very long.

I'm sitting at 5--4 road bikes and a mountain bike. My wife has a mountain bike too, and there is a mtn bike in pieces, waiting to be converted to drop bars. That project remains months away.

Bikes: A green one, "Ragleigh," or something.
19 rideable ones right now; half dozen partly dissambleds. Two or three I fully intend to sell. Some of mine are smaller bikes I keep on hand in case a friend or relative wants to go for a ride. So they're not really "mine."

vvv For Sale vvv

How many is that? I've still got two frames left, too, but they're both going away sometime in the near future - and, of course, one of the above rides is currently for sale.

Interested to see what you're purging
5 road, 1 touring, 1 s/s, 1 modern mtb, 2 vintage, 1 cx bike. My wife has 1 mtb, 2 road. I really need to do some purging
The mtbs get regular ride time but my main riders are my cx bike (Gunnar Crosshair) and my Trek 710

I counted it up the other day and got 6 rideable bikes between the fiancee and myself, and about 4 frames/incomplete bikes besides that. Only three of the above get ridden with any regularity, though, so I could stand to weed out some of it.
